Pastor Jeremy McGarity
Lead Pastor at Skyline Church, Jeremy is proud of his Lakeside and East County roots having grown up a huge Padres and Chargers fan. After a 10 year minor league baseball career with the St. Louis Cardinals, Texas Rangers and Duluth-Superior Dukes ended with an injury in 1998, Pastor Jeremy graduated from San Diego Christian with honors in 1999. He earned a B.A. degree with an emphasis in Biblical Exposition. He went on to earn two Masters Degrees from Haggard Graduate School of Theology at Azusa Pacific University. In 2001, he earned an M.A. degree in Religion with an emphasis in Theology and Ethics. In 2005, he earned the Master of Divinity degree. In 2016, Jeremy earned a Doctorate in Church Growth and Multiplication from Talbot School of Theology at BIOLA University in Los Angeles, CA. His passion is to give people the Word of God in easy to understand language. He likes to say he’ll give you something on Sunday you can use on Monday.
